Sara gave a talk in Primary today. This is the outline of what we wanted to say. She did a beautiful job! My favorite part was when she held up the picture of the St. George temple, and talked about being a princess in a beautiful dress, and going to the temple to marry her prince. The picture of her reading with her Dad was darling. I will add it to this post.
I love to learn from the Prophet! Our new Prophet President Monson tells us this month in the Ensign that when he was a boy he loved to read the story Treasure Island about Jim Hawkins following a treasure map, searching for treasure.
President Monson says that we should follow a treasure map, as we seek for the treasures the Savior promised of joy unspeakable here and eternal happiness hereafter.
President Monson gives us three pieces of a treasure map in his message this month. He says they are Learn from the past, Prepare for the Future, Live in the Present.
Learn from the Past. I love to learn from Jesus. I love this picture of Jesus because it has kids on it, and Moms and Dads. Jesus is talking to the kids, telling them about the earth, and about heaven. I love to learn from Jesus.
Learn from the Past. President Hinckley is in Heaven now. I can remember what he taught me, and how I felt when I saw him. I know that he was a prophet. I tried to follow what he asked, and I will keep trying.
Prepare for the Future. I can prepare for the future by preparing to go to the temple. I love to go there. Someday I will get to dress up in a beautiful white wedding dress, and marry a prince in the Temple of God. I will prepare for that day.
Live in the Present. President Monson says that we should not delay in smiling and enjoying today. I love to read stories with my Mom and Dad. I love to ride bikes, and go on bike rides with my Mom. I will Live in the Present, and follow the council of my prophet, President Monson today.

Jed made a cool treasure map for her to introduce her talk. She did a great job! I love you Sara!
