Musical Power

After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963)

This song of the waters is audible to every ear, but there is other music in these hills, by no means audible to all. . . . On a still night, when the campfire is low and the Pleiades have climbed over rimrocks, sit quietly and listen . . . and think hard of everything you have seen and tried to understand. Then you may hear it - a vast pulsing harmony - its score inscribed on a thousand hills, its notes the lives and deaths of plants and animals, its rhythms spanning the seconds and the centuries.
Aldo Leopold

I am so blessed to have young people who have developed beautiful musical talents. I am grateful to good teachers, who with patience, endurance, and faith continue to direct, inspire, and correct them in their efforts to create beautiful music! This afternoon, Jr. team turned on a radio upstairs while they worked to clean their room. The feeling in the entire house changes to contention, fighting, increased temper. I asked for it to be turned off, logged into my blogg, and the beautiful music that L. has put there, and almost immediately the energy in my entire home changed! I know of the power of music for good and evil. I am so grateful for beautiful sounds created by God, my Eternal Father in Heaven! I love you Father! Thank you for sending me to this earth where you created beautiful things to bless my life.
