I love the temple! Today the Draper, Utah Temple is being dedicated. What a beautiful opportunity to have angels visit the earth, and bring promises of obedience to those worthy to hear them.
I am so grateful that my family will be there! I have ironed their white shirts, and their clean white handkerchiefs! I love the preparations of Heaven!
I have offered to stay behind with the angels who are under the age of eight who are not invited to participate in the dedication. Together Brinley, Sara, Jakob and I have been preparing all week for our "Temple Party!" We are excited to make temples out of sugar cubes (we have hundreds ready to go!), to color our temple book (I will try to attach it to this blog as a download), and to play the ring game and talk about the eternal characteristics of a ring. What fun! We are making Angel Food Cake for treats, and looking forward to learning the new song "My Eternal Family!" I am thankful for my eternal family!
