J Kicks off Birthday Time!

I love life! I am the luckiest Mom in the world! Sunday, April 19th, my little J. (haha he stands 6' 7 1/2") turned 18! Wow! He is an adult! I can't believe it! We have the best relationship! I love that he calls me between classes. I love that he comes home after school, and asks how he can help! He is so kind and loving. He is so large in stature, tall and good! If every man could be... like him,
"Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." (Alma 28:17)

That describes J!

He is my oldest, my first. I love him! Who am I kidding, I love each and every one of my little ones - all Seven! I can't imagine life without each one!

We had a nice FHE last night at the park with the S&T H.. We ordered Bajio and met at the park to prepare for the upcoming EFY final night and testimony meeting that will be held there. It will be a beautiful setting. Last night it was cool and pleasant! I am not sure the temperatures will be similar in June, but we made plans for lots of shades brought in, and it will be great! The theme for Youth Conference is "Be what you Believe!" Similar to the theme for the YM&YW this year, but a little different. It will be great! We played a fun Scriptures Gestures suggested by Jenny Phillips available on her site, linked here. The H. family has three little ones, 10-4 two boys and a girl. We all had fun guessing the scripture stories! We had a nice evening! Thanks B for easing my load by making enough to allow us to buy dinner! It was so nice to just place the order, and send J. to pick it up. A fun evening, enjoyed by all!

Tonight we are preparing for the youth fundraising activity. Lots to do! I'm in charge of red potatoes for 120 people, some type of dessert, and some fun crafts to raffle. I have three packs of homemade soap ready to take, and I'm working on some cute flowers, and vinyl of President Monson's recent statement "Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith." I'll post pictures as soon as I get them done - off to work...run run run! :)
