For one day every year, I have two children the same age. C. decided in heaven that he and L. should not share exactly the same day, and so he urgently jumped from heaven on April 30th to make way for L. to have her own day! Somehow her birthday often falls on a very busy day! It was just a few years ago that C and J were both ordained on her birthday! This year L. shared her birthday with J's graduation from Dixie State! It was a beautiful day!
L is a beautiful young lady! She excels in all that she undertakes! She is a fabulous student, currently attending Dixie State College - yes as a now 15 yr old! I asked about her grades tonight, and she said going into finals she expected all A's. She hadn't checked after finals, but she wasn't worried about any of them! This year she can get her learners permit! So on the morning of C's birthday, I took her to the driving school to register and pick up the packet to help her prepare to take the written test so she can get her permit. The DMV offices in the State of Utah have gone to a four day work week, so they are closed on Friday meaning she will have to wait until Monday to take the test! She is excited and ready! On her birthday, Friday, the driving school instructor called, and arranged to take her for a drive even though she didn't have her permit yet! She was thrilled! She also managed to work in a horseback ride on Friday afternoon with S! They had great time! S seems to love horses as much as L! I am so grateful for L! I am the oldest in my family, and growing up, I wished I had an older brother. I prayed and prayed for an older brother for my daughters. L is fortunate to have J to watch out for her and lead the way! L you will always hold a special close spot in my heart! Thank you for agreeing to be my daughter and best friend! I am grateful for the fabulous relationship that we share! You're beautiful and wonderful! I love you! xoxoxox
