Tonight I was so tired B & I went to the temple early this morning, I laid down to sneak 20 minutes late this afternoon. When I awoke, I found the boys in the garage working together... tell me this is not a beautiful sight!? B has been concerned about the water pump going out on the Rig (Excursion) so he decided to tackle it tonight before it goes out on the side of the road on the way to someplace far away. I am so grateful that B is so talented. Look at the amazing things he is teaching my boys! J took the engine repair class last year at Dixie College. He is brave enough to tackle hard projects. Today he worked all day in the 110 degree heat on a sprinkler project for the city. A friend called and commented how impressed she was with his work ethic about 1:00 p.m. today, saying she had called her girls and told them to take note of the caliber of young man he is! I agree! He learned from the best!
Check out S in this picture. I wish I had captured him mowing the grass which was growing between the garden boxes in the back. He is so darling, but so boy! He and B worked hard, and are proud tonight of all they were able to accomplish including cleaning out the shed, mowing the lawn and the grass between the garden boxes, cub scouts, piano lessons, and playing with friends today! What a great day! I am grateful for summertime together!
