Today C & H are off for their first real day of school. They both have LDS Seminary first hour, and then C has his first class at Dixie State College - Intermediate Guitar. His teacher is L.C. whom he took private lessons from a few years back. Then he has Dixie Forum which he as attended for a number of years, but never before for credit. His other two classes this semester include CIS 1200 and Mountain Biking. He is excited this morning to be a student of Hi-tech High, a new high school program offered in partnership with Novell and BYU independent Study to help young people be really prepared for their future! Here are his first day of school pictures. He is riding his bike to DHS seminary and then has arranged for a locker at the college to store one of his two guitars there so he won't have to carry it back and forth.
L has 15 credits this semester. She is excited about her progress towards her Associate Degree goals. Big day in my home!
