Temple Together & Many Extradordinary Miracles - BE!

Monday I got a call from my Mom inviting me (with skepticism) to attend a special session at the Draper Temple on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. with all my family, and my Dad officiating. I was determined to get there! I left Tuesday afternoon, and by many miracles we were all able to get on the session (which was reserved all but six seats!) We had some 12 of us there to get in, not possible, but it happened! I was grateful to have the opportunity to be there with ALL my natural born siblings! W is not endowed yet and so she was pressured to tend all the little kids at Mom's. I understand she had her very first day of student teaching ever today - the next day - and so she was a bit stressed, and then some 15 kids in the house that night before didn't help much. I am grateful to C.L. who met me at the temple to take my kids to Mom's so I could get there and not be late. I am grateful to W for watching them for me. On the way there J ate some almonds with me - not a good idea! He was throwing up, struggling to talk I had to pull over and give him benadryl. He was doing better by the time C got to the temple to pick them up. Miracles! There were many! It was SOOO special to see my Dad there smiling - standing at the alter as the presentation of the endowment was given. It was a beautiful night! I am grateful for guardian angels and miracles once again! Thank you Father!

I have tons going currently trying to prepare for a few weeks out of town... I must be ready for the Christmas service project we are doing for 200 kids on an Indian reservation who live without running water, on dirt floors less than four hours from my home! (Can't believe it, but I'm told it's true! How can I not agree to take this on? - I did!) We are trying to deliver these gifts to the 200 kids just days after we get home. I hope I can be ready before I leave! That on top of the final session of the Bloomington Stake Merit Badge Pow Wednesday. BSA District Mtg and YW Volleyball Thursday night. Brinley's Birthday (really Sunday but celebrating Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon because of commitments!) on Friday afternoon - trying to go hike Angel's Landing. The Five Brown's Concert at Tuachan on Friday night. Teaching three classes (two separate topics) at Cub Scout Pow Wow on Saturday morning. Stake Conference Saturday night and Sunday morning. YW Evening of Excellence on Sunday Night. Wew! Loaded, and loving it! We can do it!

Today I felt strongly that I should stop on the way home and visit B&J (in-laws) in Cedar Hills. J is scheduled to have her knee replaced on the 16th of this month. Since we had an explosion about just stopping on the way in and out of town, I quit going there all together - they insisted in the heat of the battle that would be better than just on the way in or out of town - so I quit going there almost completely! If B isn't with me, and it isn't a scheduled stop, I don't! Except for today.... Because we aren't going to be home for Thanksgiving and she is being operated on I felt I should stop. I didn't intend on it being a long stop, but it ended up being more than a couple of hours. I was supposed to be home by 5:00 to get set up and put on the last session of the Merit Badge Pow Wow. I didn't get out of their house until almost 5:30 ekkkk! I called in a panic to L and C and am so grateful for their wonderful help! B was already on his way home, and they managed to pull it off without much problem for which I am very grateful! Many Miracles today and yesterday! Thank you Father!

I was absolutely guided by the Spirit Right to the place I needed to find darling Bee Lip Gloss at a great price! In fact they were in a cute bee tin for the YW in Excellence on Sunday today in SLC. It was a store I have NEVER been in before, but I was prompted to turn around and go in that store, and they were there just waiting for me! I had just told B via telephone that because I had procrastinated and not ordered them last week online, now I wasn't going to get them because the overnight shipping charge of $23.00 made them so expensive I wasn't going to justify the price. It was just about that minute that I was prompted to turn around and try the Walgreens on the corner. Right there just inside on the first row, I found them waiting for me! Packs of four lip glosses in a tin, and they had twelve sets! Just a little extra! I bought all of them! Thanks for leading me, guiding me, walking beside me!

Then I was concerned because when L got her Young Womanhood Recognition Award, we made flags for all the values in their colors. That was before Virtue was added. I felt impressed two blocks later to just run in quick and check to see if they had something that would work. Not only was I guided right to the fabric, but I learned it was 50% off! I would not have paid $19.99/yard for it - regular price! 50% off, and one yard, a $10.00 purchase made me smile and say a prayer of gratitude! Thank you Father! These were both miracles I wasn't sure exactly how to pull off, or even that I should try to pull them off, but I know that I was absolutely guided to get them both done in less than a half an hour!! I call that Extraordinary! Being ready to listen to the spirit, and follow the promptings! BEING! Thank You Heavenly Help! Ties right into everything I am doing, thinking, BEING lately! Love Being guided by the Spirit, Being ready and willing, Being a Mom! Being a Daughter of a King! Being healthy and fit. Being happy and fulfilled! Being an Instrument in His Hands to accomplish His purposes here on this earth! BE!
