Beautiful Simplicity

While the world seems to point fingers, and we struggle with where to stand, I am so grateful to Know...

I am grateful to know that my Dear Dad's hero is David! He gathered smooth stones, and then went to battle, unafraid! I love him! I love both of them! I just wish I could identify what Goliath looks like! This week he appears on the movie screens appearing in every facet of life!

I am grateful for themes of life that warn us of the evils of our day! This has been the exact scripture I have needed this week:
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whither soever thou goest."
Joshua 1:9

I am also grateful for amazing friends who take the time to record the struggles, successes, tender mercies of life so when I have a hard day, I can read of others, and triumph that I don't stand alone! I am grateful to share with other Moms the joys, struggles, heartaches, and hugs! Check out these blogs for a good Mom lift:
The Square Root of Family
Real Mom Real Life darling post!

My 15 year old taught the lesson best in sharing a lesson from Seminary. Take a plain white card. Draw a simple small black dot on the card someplace. Ask "What do you see?" We focus so on the blackness, on the dot of strife. What about the surrounding white, cleanliness of purity and beauty! I am so grateful for miracles abundant in my world. I will force myself to see the heavenly miracles of cleanliness around me! Laus Deo!
