Smalll Steps

Goal for today: Clean the office(es!). I did pretty good! I can almost see the desk here at home, and I am convinced managing all this paper will help me feel more organized! I opened ALL the mail at the home office, and the office office :). No small task! Tomorrow I am going to tackle payroll, HSA account updates, and medical bills from last year. Will I ever get them all cleared up? I certainly hope this year will be a healthier year!

Totalled all the receipts for the VR Banquet and the Eagle Reception tonight. No wonder I have felt drained... drained on time, finances, creativity, energy! I am grateful to have them both behind me!

Yesterday L and I finished the CUTEST window for K at the office! It was her b-day today, and... I forgot to take a picture before we gave it away! I must say it was cute! We scrapped a background of magazine pictures which reminded us of her for the backdrop, then put her favorite saying "Excellence... It's not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do." It was really cute! I am so grateful for every one's help! L. B. K. you know who you are! Thank you! So sorry I didn't preserve it for memory sake!

Tuesday night L and I helped all the young women build their stones to slay Goliath watches. They turned out really cute! On top of all project for the office b-day, preparing for new beginnings next week, digging out from too many projects smashed on top of each other, and... lots happening! Grateful for a couple of days I can even catch my breath and not have meetings all night!

Dad is being awarded the District Award of Merit on Saturday night. Trying to decide if I am going to drive up to be there. B speaks for the 1st time as a High Counselor on Sunday morning at 11. Oh to clone myself and get double the work done in half the time! I started reading parts of this book on-line titled Twice as much in Half the time: "Large numbers... small numbers... all can be manipulated with mathematical equations. How can this help us in managing our time, in learning how to do twice as much in half the time?"
