I have so much to be thankful for! I love being a Mom! I have the most wonderful group of young people I get to be with everyday! I am so thankful for each one of them! I know when you hear of a family with lots of kids, thoughts of all kinds of havoc come to mind. I am tired of the generalizations and judgements of others! I live the life of a Queen! I can't imagine life without any one of my children! Life is so full and rich because each one of them adds flavor, spice, excitement to life! Each has their completely unique personality! Wow!
L is so soft hearted! She is loving, kind, compassionate! She loves animals of all kinds, and lucky for her, she doesn't have allergic reactions to any of them! She is known as the 'Horse Whisperer' in our neighborhood! She can ride any horse down at the ranch, and get them to behave and do exactly what she wants them to! She loves to be with the horses! She now has three horses! We recently acquired a new Wrangler to add to her care! She loves this new challenge! It was "a dream come true" for her! She was amazing on him, even the first day! It won't be long before she be doing acrobatics on his back too while he carries her around! She bonds with animals so quickly! She is also a genius! She will get her Associate Degree by December, and she is only 15 today! Yes she is a Sophomore in College, and does fabulous in her classes! She turns 16 on May 1st! We are trying to plan something special for her 16th birthday coming soon!
C is so talented at sports! There isn't a sport he can't pick up and excel at, much to my chagrin! He instantly loves a new challenge, and has to try it for a time to master it, then move on to something more challenging! He gets to ride ahead of the 4th place Ironman in the upcoming race - an elite team he is fortunate to have been invited to participate on! He has been taking college classes this year, and hasn't done as well as he would have liked. It is his first year, and he is only 14, so I have told him to give it his best, but not beat himself up about it! Tests are not his forte! He will get better at knowing how to study for tests! Real knowledge is completely different than studying for a test! I agree - why do we have to have tests?
S is so darling! He has this amazing, fun, outgoing, completely unafraid personality! He doesn't care about what others will think, he is his own person, and he will live his life, His way! He is so smart! I can't think of something that he can't do! He puts his mind to... starting the impossible 4 wheeler - he does it! Move that very heavy piece of equipment, he will rig a way to get it moved! Fix anything! He can! He is so practically smart it kills others! This 10 year old kid can out smart adults trying to solve the same problem! Watch out world... Here comes S.H.!
B is such a beauty queen WITH a brain! She is tidy, smart, productive, organized, and darling to boot! She has the looks to kill! Her eyes are dark and her long blond hair is to die for! She has a tall, slim figure - I never had! She is smart in school smarts - mastering skills quickly and easily, moving so fast through workbooks, I am constantly behind in getting work for her to do for her school assignments!
S is charming! She is lovable and huggable! She doesn't want to grow up, but she is tall and darling! She is as tall as B, but two years younger! She loves to cuddle up on your lap and read books, and could just stay there! She tries her best to keep up with B, but she really is two years younger! She really wants to be a ballerina! She is playing soccer this year, because B is, but she really wants ballet lessons!
J is allergic to... you name it! I took him to be tested yesterday, and he is very allergic to horses, walnuts, peanuts, and grass. He is also allergic to dogs and cats. That doesn't stop him! He is constantly scratching his legs, until they bleed! I hope we have found some answers to help him! He and I have a lovable exchange about who loves who the most. I treasure it! I am so grateful to spend everyday with him!
Who am I kidding! I love spending everyday with each of these! I miss J dearly! I can't wait to get him home for a bit!
In the meantime, we are excited to welcome another little one to our family this summer! Can't imagine life without any of these, and B and I already constantly look at each other, knowing someone is missing, can't figure out where! I am thrilled to welcome another little one from Heaven to my home! Heavenly blessings!
Grateful to be a Mom, even as I struggle to find something to put on! :) That is not a stage I love... but I know something about what's coming :)!!! We can't wait!
