Caught by Complete Surprise!

I am so blessed! I quietly celebrated my birthday a few days back (May 6th), and my 21st Wedding Anniversary on the same day! I was grateful that day for a beautiful family working together in the front yard! It was beautiful! Yesterday we had grandparents B & J staying with us, here to support J through the temple on Wednesday evening. My parents were also here, and so our day began a bit unpredictable as to what was happening with all these fun visitors in town. Harr's got up and visited for a bit, but by 10:30 or so they were on the road home. My parents called the kids, and invited them to ride their favorite Green Valley Loop with them. Off the kids went, I stayed and together little J and I read books, cleaned the house, enjoyed time in the front by the waterfall, had a few quiet hours to ourselves. The bikers returned, to learn that Granny had crashed and was a bit bumped, no blood, but ready for a rest.

We all settled on heading to their Green Valley Pool for a few hours in the sunshine together. The kids played, I visited, and then Dad and I picked up lunch and brought it back to share poolside. We enjoyed a beautiful slower afternoon together! I am so grateful for HARD work days and slower days too! It was so pleasant!

Then around 3:30, we decided to separate a bit, the boys to help B with delivering the weekly water route here in St. George: We donate water bottles with BCH PC labels on them to eight Dr/Chiropractor offices here in town as advertising - promotes great health, exposes more people to our name, and introduces them to our website! Inexpensive, helpful, service offered to locals! We feel much better about spending money this way than just dumping it into billboards, TV advertisements, radio, etc.! Only downfall is it requires a team of helpers, and takes about 3-4 hours/week to relabel and deliver the water! I am grateful to have drivers now - L and J both capable of handling this delivery route with a helper or two! We all took separate cars, and I went with my parents and a few to go shopping at Eddie Bauer since we had a coupon there this week. It was a fun shopping trip - other than the end when my Dad insisted on paying the bill and I so wanted to buy the cute outfits we had chosen for he, my Mom, Liesl and I! He is so good to us! I did find one pair of pants, and couple of tops to wear at this strange 6 month time of pregnancy :).

Anyway, we left there, and made one other quick stop, and then returned home... to find the driveway completely full of cars!

All the office staff and their spouses and families were here to surprise me! We enjoyed a beautiful meal of hamburgers, salads, fresh fruit, etc.! The weather was perfect, we ate on the back porch, in the setting evening sun. It was so pleasant to visit with all these amazing people! I am so grateful for each of them! I am so blessed! I was totally surprised! Apparently Mom and Dad as well as my Sr. team were all in on the secret, and gratefully helped the house be presentable for the party! I was totally surprised! Pleasantly! Thanks for the party friends!
