How to record history, to remember these precious days? I am so grateful to be a mother! I am grateful for the daily challenges, and the rewards of hugs, stories, peace that comes just being together! Today my little one is a little over three weeks old. I can't believe how quickly time goes!
Saturday our family was very busy! It was also the Kokopelli Triathlon Saturday morning. We helped with Triathlon registration Friday afternoon, then had lots of projects left to complete, and set up preparations for the next morning, helping with the Cub Centennial Celebration. We have been preparing for months for the BSA Centennial 100 year Celebration! We are all grateful to be done with it!
I am hugging my little ones lots! Today, monday I had to spend time at the office, as all of my time last week was dedicated to the centennial celebration! I am grateful for each member of my family, feeling big holes right now where Jed is missing! Chandler and Liesl are each busy with school, and their absence adds to the loss. I am thankful for the beautiful times we had this summer together! I am grateful for a little angel right from heaven to hug and hold tight! I am so blessed!
We have decided to bless her in the Snowbird branch this coming Sunday. That way our family can all be there, and not require them to travel. I made the mistake of mentioning in an email to Jed this morning that we were doing that, I have been crying about it all day, wishing that he could be there! I love that little boy and miss him! All my writing time lately has been dedicated to writing to him, it has made it difficult to find time to keep up on this blog. I think I need to post my letters to him here so that I keep a record of these beautiful days! They are beautiful! I am so thankful for beauty all around me! Yes, I know Heavenly Father loves me!
