For several weeks B has wanted to take the boys fishing. He remembered taking J to the Uintas little Butterfly Lake and having such a fun time reeling in fish all day. I remember them talking about how freezing cold it was, but that's not what B remembers! So several weeks ago he decided it was going to happen before the end of the year! It's getting colder, so this trip needed to happen! It just so happened, that they decided the only weekend left in October was the 8th and 9th, and so he put plans in place to make it happen. I am grateful to be married to a mover and shaker who doesn't just "sit on the sidelines half alive" as his favorite quote says, but he jumps right in and gets the job done!

Needless to say, they had a great trip! They ended up inviting Grandpa's and word got out that a trip was happening, so a few cousins joined as well. Memories Forever!
The girls and I stayed in our luxury conditions! We went to the pool (Green Valley) and had nearly the entire facility to ourselves! We canned some 28 jars of tomatoes sauce, and L participated in the Dixie State College parade - helping to decorate the PBL club float on Friday night, and then on the float in the parade Saturday morning. It was a pleasant, warm weekend - a bit different than our boys experienced, but they loved it!
