Once Upon a Time

I loved Elder Uchtdorf's advise to simplify and remember the importance of the fundamentals of life. Too often, I discount my most important jobs of reading lessons, math pages, handwriting, story time, piano practicing, questions. I appreciated the reminder to make these simple things in my life count and not to take them for granted! I am so grateful to have my kids with me! I am thankful that we spell TIME differently than the rest of the world! I'll keep it that way! I have tried to limit my to do list to three projects per day so that I can feel successful instead of always behind. With a beautiful baby getting me up a couple of times each night, I have struggled with exercise, always unsure if I can really leave in the morning, if I get her up, then I won't get to go, and if I don't go, I'll go crazy with no exercise! Round and round I go! I feel so much better when I get to breathe the fresh air, stretch my legs and watch the world awake, even if just for 30 minutes. I love that time to begin my day, prioritize my to do lists, and talk to my Heavenly Father and best friend, Bradley!
I am writing my own story, my own outline for each day. I am so blessed with abundance in so many ways! Tender mercies for today include lots of hugs from Jakob. Sophia is grabbing my finger, holding on to my hair, necklace whatever to just hold on! She stretches both arms high in the air, and then wraps them around my neck. She falls asleep quickly in my arms, but as soon as I lay her down, she wakes up and cries and cries! Jakob has a cute part he has written for the Primary Program coming - His assigned line was I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Love me Because ____ he was to fill in the blank. He and I talked about it, and came up with Because I am so cute, BUT I love him more! He always replies back to me that he loves me more when I tell him that I love him! It is so perfect!
