Learning lots of late. Finding truth is something I crave. I am thankful to live in an era of literature.
My Mom sensed my need, and came as an Angel (which she is) in her Princess Car (the girls LOVE being with her!), early in the whispers of the morning yesterday (Monday). We have had long talks, and I have learned much from her. Thank you Mom for being an Angel who came to answer my prayer!
Together we have feasted. Alma 37 was our family scripture study chapter Sunday, before she arrived. Many verses, but particullary verses 4-9 were meaningful to me. Then in nursery on Sunday, while the little ones played on the floor, I read from the Feb. Ensign by Sister Tanner - messages just for me I note here so I will remember them.
Today Psalm 82.
Aunt B many years ago told me to find a book written by Art Berg. I have now purchased about 4 copies of the book, and I keep giving them away to friends. I don't have one today to quote, but he talks about the trials of life, and how we should celebrate those trials, thank our Heavenly Father for the opportunity to learn and grow. He in fact challenges that if you aren't having a trial, to get on your knees and ask for one so you can grow.
The church markee around the corner this week says "God answers Knee mail." Yes, he does.
