Beautiful Memories Together!

For the past several weeks we have been training as a family to participate in LOTOJA coming on September 10th. It is a 206 mile bike ride from Logan to Jackson. B and C are riding the entire way, and then we have a relay team doing it as well. We invited K, D and M to be on the team with S,L, and I. We are excited. Each member will ride between 25 and 45 miles and we have to finish by 8:15 p.m.. We have been jumping out of bed every morning at 5:45 to ride together. Usually S and I start with the others and then we do our own loop or they pick us up. We rode to the office via Turtle Road big hill on Thursday and then cleaned before school. It worked well.

It seems lately that I want so much to spend quality time with my kids, and the few spare minutes I have I write to my missionary. My journal here has been lacking. I should go back and post some of my emails to my Elder. He is doing great!

This week we celebrated that we were done with Webelos and Cub Activity days! Wew! 350 boys for 5 hour blocks of time all happy and learning. That was last weekend at Staheli Farm. Many, many hands make light work. I am so grateful! I have been making cookies and poppyseed cakes all week, delivering to people with Thank yous! Huge! Thanks friends! Still several to go!

Friday we welcomed the office staff here to our home for a barbecue and baby shower. A & B are expecting twins in December, hoping she is well and still up and about in November. With the coming weeks so crazy, we decided sooner was better. It was fun to have time to visit with everyone outside the office. Great people, I am grateful!

My littlest S is 1 today! I am soooo grateful for her! This morning I can't lay there, without remembering laboring through these hours, praying for help as we battled together to welcome her to this earth! She was born at 7:35 a.m. and at this moment one year ago, I was struggling! I am so grateful for the gift of life!

She is toddling everywhere! She dislikes shoes with a passion, and I don't have the heart to make her wear shoes! She has this cutest scrunch of the shoulders and her arms out running to you when she wants to be picked up. She is definitely a Momma's girl and I'll take it! I'll take special pictures of her today and post! I adore you S! Thanks for being my bundle of love from heaven!
