I love fall and the changing seasons! I live in a beautiful community that doesn't have drastic changes in seasons, yet we still have the leaves change colors, and the temperatures cool a bit. We enjoy beautiful blue sky and sunshine nearly everyday all year long, in fact, I heard a member of the Chamber of Commerce leadership say once that the sun shines 365 days a year! We have a few days that are cloudy and might have a rain cloud, but rarely do the clouds stay for the entire day. Sometime during everyday we see the sun Shining on our Shoulders! I am so grateful!
This weekend our little community welcomes thousands to our luxury vacation destination for the weekend to participate in our St. George Marathon. It is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, and as such, is noted worldwide as a popular marathon! I love to run! B & I are both registered to run this year, I believe this would be our 6th, but because I am some 3 1/2 months along, I have been told I "can't run." Whatever! I wish, but I know that I understand the meaning of the word "sacrifice" which I believe means "giving up something good, for something better!" I will be sacrificing my marathon this year for a birth of a new little one into my home, and I know that not only will I gain a beautiful gift from the very presence of God, but I will also gain many, many more opportunities to run the marathon because I am choosing to be smart while pregnant! I am so grateful for a beautiful family and a loving, kind, compassionate, super husband! I am so blessed!
I just needed to record my feelings of the day, and tell my Father in Heaven thanks for all He blesses me with! Thanks Father!
