This past weekend, B and I snuck away on a late date night :). It was sooo fun! We wanted to get to Powell to check out a houseboat, but didn't want all our kids to know, so we waited until we had tucked most of them in, and then we headed out. Arriving after midnight, we snooped around on the houseboat, and decided we better find someplace to sleep for the few hours left. So we made our beds in the back of the truck, tucked our baby to sleep in the back seat of the truck, and then it started to rain. Tender mercy, that we were able to make our bed without any raindrops, and then it decided to come. It rained the rest of the night. We slept great under that tarp, got up early, checked out the boat, and headed home. Our kids got up to find us not at home, and learned they had missed a fun time. I am so grateful for adventures! Thanks B for another fun memory!
