Tonight was the final game in J's season. Last week in practice, he twisted his ankle bad. Trainers told him he was likely out for the season. He responded that wasn't going to be so! He called us and asked for our prayers, and then sought out and received a Priesthood blessing. The player who gave him the blessing told him that he did that to his ankle some time back, and he was out for two months. J replied that he had waited for 3 years to play this team to the championship, and that he needed a blessing that he would get to play! He had a game the next night, and although it was swollen and sore, J played a bit.
Tonight he had another important game. They are defending a now 28 game at home winning streak! Tonight's team was a team they lost to on the road, and had some nationally recognized players. J really wanted to play and has been praying for miracles so that he could. Yep. He did! They won! Here is the link to watch my cute J! I am so grateful to see him running up and down that court!
