C has been called on a mission!

This morning we were in Washington DC where J and three cute girls joined us for a short time.  This morning early we went to Arlington Cemetery to witness the changing of the guard.  We toured the Arlington house and the Kennedy's graves.  Then J had to return to virginia.  We found a few more monuments.... at the WWII monument of the soldiers hoisting the flag we were blessed to witness a cool performance of the synchronized performing marines with their bayonets. Then we found the Air Force monument.  We stopped into see a cute neighbor working foryou US Senator Lee, but she wasn't there.  We also visited the museum of science where we found drawings of architecture showing how generations build on former generations.
We have the sweetest mailperson ever!!!!!  She left me a message early today that there was a special package for CWH!  Eeekkk!   We gathered  at 6:15 from all over via computers and cell phones and many friends to celebrate with C as he takes a huge step.... he is called to serve as an LDS missionary to ......Singapore!  Wow!

These purple trees are so beautiful!  This is why we came in April so we could see the blossoms! They are abundant!
