For FHE last night, we discussed this great article by President Uchtdorf. We had fun building block buildings, trying to begin with a roof and talked about how important the walls are to support the roof. B talked about how different everyone's buildings are and how we each have unique needs and goals and that the prophets will give us instructions customized for our own needs!
This little one is not walking quite yet! He stands up right in the middle of the room, but won't take a step. I am so grateful for him! He is sooo charming! How can you not want to just kiss that face! ooooo! Love you little S!!!!!!
We had the kids find our Living Scriptures model of the Liahona during dinner, and we talked about the scriptural account of the family of Lehi finding it outside their tent. We discussed when it worked, and why and how we could pay attention to the Liahona given to our own family.
We presented the ideas in President Uchdorf's message backwards, ending with a challenge to set about three goals of questions or concerns each has, and told the kids we want to talk about those concerns on Friday during dinner prior to conference beginning.
Then we sang along with this cute song again. It's a family favorite!
