Governor Mitt Romney was the Commencement Exercises speaker for Southern Virginia University. I am so grateful my J has had the privilege of attend here! We extended our stay to hear President Romney (I wish!) and I am grateful we did! It meant this week that we got to go to Boston, which was not really on our plan, but we learned a lot there!
In President Romney's address he said...
From the Savior's advice to Paul.... cast your nets into the Deep! Get married, have a family, do your best in the job your now doing. Choose to swim in deep waters..... story of pioneer mother celebrating the safety of her son. Ann spoke at Yale graduation as last speaker about their choice of career. Ann listed the areas of expertise required in her choice of careers after which the audience burst into standing ovation.

I am grateful we got to stay and hear him. We are heading home tonight, well on our way. We hope to make it home by Monday, that means a lot of miles between here and there! Happy Trails!

These photos are of the walls of this cute home J has rented this year. At the beginning of school year (last August) he shared this home with four guys. However, after the Christmas break, he was the only one to return. He has had cute friends join him for meals here, but this has been his place for the past few months.
If these walls could talk, they would tell of a fine young man who got to live his dreams and play basketball for a great school on the East Coast! Laus Deo!
