Today was Chandler's Farewell. He is a rock! He spoke of families, and did a great job! He talked of the importance of the home. He talked about putting food in the refrigerator - representing the relationship bank account, and how he is not happy if there is no food in the refrigerator! That brought a few giggles, the audience was right with him. Then he outlined 6 steps to have a stronger family. The list included... prayer, scriptures, obedience, work and recreation, family home evening. There were 6.
Brother and Sister J shared the pulpit with Chandler yesterday. They are leaving on their mission Sept 5 (the week before Chandler) and only got their call a month ago! They have been busy preparing! They also spoke on family, and Brother J talked about the adversary laughing at the contention in a family. He told a story, building the contention in the family and at how many times he adds to the level of upset!
