As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that His church is run by regular people, making a difference. When the Savior was on the earth, he called his disciples from the men with him, fishermen and called them to come be fishers of men. Today, the leadership of our Church is regular people, working, striving, learning, trying to provide for their families and do their best! Leadership changes as the weather, and so does the opportunities for each person within the church. We are all asked to help shoulder the load, to make this world a better place! I believe this choice opportunity happens daily! Just yesterday I was with a new friend, a fabulous artist, Angela Johnson (she is amazing!) we were touring downtown Art Around the Corner show, and there was some liter on the sidewalk. At first I walked by, but then I couldn't help myself. Am I just going to walk by, pretending to not notice that garbage, or should I stop to make a difference and pick it up. I had noticed other liter earlier, but noted that those walking with us near it didn't stop to get it, and in the awkwardness of the minute, I didn't change places, insisting on picking up. This time, it was napkins, blowing past me, and I had to stop and pick them up! We get to choose! Will I walk by, not helping, will I say no to that opportunity, or will I say "Yes" and offer to help however I can. I personally believe that whenever we say no - whenever we choose to ignore or pass an opportunity we are passing by possibilities we don't know of! I am so grateful for the miracles of Yes that my Heavenly Father has opened for me! Thank you Heavenly Father!
So, I have said Yes a lot lately. And that means.... well, I haven't had much time to write here! I want to record miracles!

Last week I taught Gospel Doctrine. I taught last week in a new class, with new rules, encouraging participation and it went great I think! We had a very short time to cover the entire book of Deuteronomy! I had been guided that Wednesday to Deuteronomy 4:30-31. It reads: 30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
Even in the latter days! Yes, even today! I am so grateful to know that if we are obedient we will have the promises of heaven! Yes, I know it is true! I am off running again, Piano Recital, Stake Conference with two young people singing in the choir. I am so grateful for opportunities!
Miracles this week include a successful Self Reliant Provident Living night with 95% of ladies taking a completed skirt home with them from my home while canning demonstrations happened in the kitchen! What a week!
Here is a glimpse of happy smiles of those I love soooo much!
How can I forget the joy of hearing my missionaries last week on Mother's Day! They are sooo amazing! I a was surprised to have my Jed show up at church that day! I had seen him earlier in the week but he came home to surprise me! What a blessing to have all my kids voices linked together for 30 minutes! Sister L called 30 min before Elder C and so we had 30 min together before she had to sign off. We prayed for miracles with technology and it all worked beautifully! Google Hangout is amazing! We linked Grandparents in Cedar Hills in - good job to them for figuring out their camera and audio so they could join in! What a beautiful Mother's Day! I know that our Mother in Heaven smiles too when she sees us joyous to reunite! I love being together!
