I am especially grateful for awesome families who help make being a Mom easier! I love following the Eyre's plan of a value a month - Justice & Mercy this month - we link it with the theme picked by the LDS church for the Youth Come Follow Me Curriculum - Priesthood and Priesthood Keys - and it is amazing to me how every month they relate beautifully!
Tonight we held a family court complete with a judge and bailiff. B was right in his element! We tried J for taking Mentos and S for being an accomplice to the spilling of green fingernail paint on the floor in the craft room. The kids really liked it, and it lead to a great discussion on Justice and Mercy. Then we read this talk by Jeffery R. Holland.
We are also memorizing the Proclamation on the Family one paragraph at a time so we added another one tonight to add to our repertoire.
