Smile Adventures Happening!

This week we drove S to Provo to go to EFY.  We decided while we were there, we would make a trip of it!  We got to meet some fun cousins downtown for the afternoon.  These two cute girls love being together!  Thanks for spending the afternoon with us Miss M!

These cute brothers know they want to enter into this house of the Lord! I am grateful for them!

I'm going there someday! Love these kids! We visited the cut away of the temple in the South Visitors Center of the temple, and loved learning about the layout inside the temple. Then we rode the elevator to the 24th floor of the Church Office Building and then we went for a tour of the Beehive House. Fun memories together!

I love this photo... all looking to the temple!  I hope that we can always look to the temple so we can be together forever!  Our Savior lives and He loves us!  If we can keep our lives focused on Him and being worthy to be in His house, we will find joy and happiness only the Savior can give!
Caught up with this cute big brother as we visited graves of our ancestors.  Heber C. Kimball Family Grave in Downtown Salt Lake City. We believe one of our ancestors is buried here although there are no records to show that.  Farmor's Grave in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

That night we borrowed the older cousins, and went camping in American Fork Canyon so we could hike Timp Cave early the next morning.  The kids set up the tent and got the sleeping bags ready. We had dutch oven chicken with rice and vegetables. It was a fun night!

Cute little miss on the way up to the Cave.

Jakob got to open the door - renamed Jake's Cavern! It was heavy!
On the way out! What a fun adventure! — at Timpanogos Cave National Monument.

Rangers took this photo so we could all be in it! Fun hike with these great kids! Me and 8 kids 2-13. Fun time! They were great!

After the hike, we had a few hours to wait for others to catch up to us, so we opted for the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.  It was a GREAT choice!  We will be back there!  This is a wind tunnel in the museum of Natural Curiosity. So fun!  The kids create "kites" out of materials provided... included paper cups, coffee filters, streamers, pipe cleaners... etc. The kids loved it!   They have a High Ropes Course for those who meet some safety requirements.  All the older kids got to go climb amazing challenges in the rafters of this really tall building - I think they were 4 stories up there.  I tried to take some photos, but they don't do it justice!  There were lots of challenges, and the kids were harnessed in and allowed to choose which ones they wanted to do.  Some did better than others, but I believe it was a great challenge for all!  It was really fun!

S loved the little tyke area!  Balls are his thing! There were lots to go around, but he certainly loved having a load of his own balls!  This is a the youngest area of the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. Stephen was in heaven! He loves balls! — at Museum of Natural Curiosity At Thanksgiving Point.

While we had a little miscommunication on meeting people where and when, J & B went with these friends from Taiwan to the Alpine Slide in Park City.  They had a fun ride. We just wish we were together!

That night we felt strongly we should just head home, so we did.  It was a great adventure!

Didn't take us long to find another adventure.  The girls were up early the next morning getting their school work, jobs, and music practicing done so we could invite friends for this fun at Gunlock.
