It has all ready been about three weeks that public school kids have been in and we have not! We are so grateful for homeschool options and for time together! That doesn't mean we haven't been doing school - we do that every weekday so it is not much of a change for us.
We took a fun trip together to SLC. I thought I was just taking the kids, until the night before and B got a new appointment in SL for the next day. Score! Yes we can do that! We pulled the canoes up and while he was at his new appt. we were dropped off at the Jordan River. I really didn't intend to float that river, but since we had an hour anyway, we decided to do it! It was brave and ended up being quite slow! It was pleasant to just float there together.
Then we went to the remodeled Ogden Temple open house. It was funny to change our clothes in the car after floating the river. Then after, we changed in the parking lot again and picked up pizza to eat on the way to the Weber River. Note: The Weber river is much more aggressive than the Jordan River was earlier that morning!
