This year we decided we live in a great place and we are so happy to have Sister Harr Home that we didn't need to go to some hotel someplace because really there is "No place like Home!" So we determined to make it an adventure week of new sights and experiences from right here at home!
Monday we took everyone and did Yankee Doodle hike! Wow! We took 2 yr old Stephen and 4 yr old Sophia down that rappel into that awesome slot canyon! Sophia half way down the 70+ ft rappel yelled out to me "Mom, I am flying!" I am grateful I really couldn't see her! She loved it and just wanted more!
This was Tuesday morning in the Kanab Ranger office trying to get 10 walk-in permits to do the Wave for Wednesday. B and J drove out to be there by 9 to be in for the lottery held at 9 for the 10 spots. Needless to say a lot left disappointed including us! There were 110 people there hoping for those 10 spots! Wow! Moved to plan B after learning that was so popular and impossible!
We had never been to Toquerville Falls. Not super exciting as far as adventure getting there - just a ride in the car. Our Excursion has 307,000 miles on it! That is a lot! It is going strong and we got new tires put on it Monday afternoon of this week so we are good for at least another 50K right? Yea! 
We are sooo grateful! Fun hike through Central Park in Snow Canyon this morning with the Mangone family. Then we came home and hosted dinner here for a few at our home, including these two fabulous Elders!
The stars on the wall are our grateful list this year. Most of the colored ones are people. We are so grateful for good relationships and treasure them as the only lasting thing we can take with us from this life. We are so blessed! Thank you all for your part in our lives!
