Blog Blues! Write Where?

With a missionary in the field, it is difficult for me to write to him and keep up on writing in my blogs.  Oh the lessons of life!  This blog has some complication that when I try to set it private, it disappears completely.  This one has been going a lot longer, than my other one and so I seem to prefer this one, but I so wish it was private so I could just write to myself.

Everyday there are so many miracles!  This morning was no exception!  I went to sleep last night thinking that I needed to call a sister in my neighborhood for some help with a project.  I woke up this morning, and didn't know how early I could call her so I shot a text off that said Hi and asked her to call when she could.  An hour later she was standing at my door with orange juice and donuts.  She said she had a feeling that she should bring a treat to S for his kindness and example for her son at scout camp.  I asked if she had gotten my text, to which she laughed and said "No!"  She explained that yesterday after church, she shut the car door to hear a crash!  She had shattered the screen on her phone, it is done!  :(  So this morning, she was prompted to come to my house for a reason totally unrelated so we could chat about the other issue I needed her help with!  Total Tender mercy!  I am so grateful for Heavenly Help!  I know that as Sister Wendy Nelson talked about at BYU Women's Conference May 2015 she said as covenant women, we should pray to have angels "dispatched" to come and help us. Totally Sister S was an angel on my door step this morning!  I am so grateful!

These photos are from the Top of Zion Relay we did this last weekend.  It was just the kids and I, S and B were gone to scout camp and A had to work!  We had a great time!  We each ran only 2 of the 3 legs we were supposed to, but we sponsored the start line, Aid Station 18 and 26 so we were not sleeping during our time off!  We enjoyed the time together in the beautiful back country of Utah!

Here is the group of scouts that were at Powell last week.  They built 3 3 person kayaks over the last three months time, and had a great time learning about teamwork to paddle together!  Thanks Brother V and family for your time and energy to make it happen!  All returned home safely and happy with lots of great memories together!
