Relief Society Impressions

Tonight I need to record my impression on what I should share tomorrow in Relief Society.  We held our kick off activity this past week but we only had a fair turn out.  I don't feel that I should take the handouts and details to Relief Society and fill everyone in on the details of what happened, that sends the message that why bother come, we will just get it again.

I feel impressed that I should share that I heard Elder Bednar speak this week about the change that he has experienced since he was President of BYUI and how this life is about changing and becoming better people.  I am grateful for the opportunities of this week which have changed me.  I am changed as a result of the miracles I witnessed and the opportunities to gather as sisters on Thursday evening.  Thank you to all who came and participated.  I believe we were taught and inspired to participate and kick off our Relief Society project for this year. For those who missed it, please ask your visiting teachers to help fill you in.  We look forward to the unity and joy of uniting this year in Operation Comfort as we seek to follow the admonition expressed by Elder Uchtdorf when he said "As we emulate His perfect example, our hands can become His hands; our eyes, His eyes; our heart, His heart."  Thank you Sisters for your support. I love you!

Short, sweet and just an appreciation of change and those who choose to participate.

I want to be an instrument in His hands!  At the activity we give everyone a heart and had them tie a ribbon on it.  I thought I would take them and share them with those who didn't come, but that defeats the purpose of those who came.  I am not going to take them.  We were given some great handouts. I will scan them and post them here.  I am grateful to write in private so I can share my heart and not worry about who is reading!  I love to write and record miracles!
