We find ourselves struggling with whether we are to plan to hope to include everyone or wait to find out if and when others might join and then plan when they can be here.
We finally decided we needed to plan things for our team at home to love, and then if marrieds and others came, great. So we focused on those who we knew would be here to enjoy the fun! We made a list of lots of fun things we thought of and then went to work seeing if we could plug them in. Here is a photo of our whiteboard:
I am grateful that we finally took the time to make a plan so that we could have so much fun this week! All the activities above we found time to fit in - well most of them! Here is another photo of the plan after we plugged in the activities:
We have had a great Thanksgiving together!
So Saturday was our Surprise! It has been fun to watch everyone prepare for and try to figure out the surprise! We needed to have a count of how many would be coming, so that took a little work, and some people wouldn't commit unless we told them what we were planning (Grandpa and Grandma Harr). In the end, we had 12 of us there (missing Brinley, Chandler, Haley and Cassidy). We rented a side-by-side machine, and took our four wheelers and truck and went to Tuweep Overlook of the Grand Canyon! It was a beautiful day! What a beautiful place! It is 60 miles out on a dirt road. We have only gone there one other time, and that was many years ago, so it was brand new for some!
The side by side was fun, but the terrain was not really what we hoped! It was just a 2 wheel drive dirt road until the very last 3 miles! Then the parks people wouldn't let our 4 wheelers in, so we all piled into the truck and side by side for the last 6 miles. Whatever!
It was beautiful! I am so grateful for the time to play and learn together!

I love this man SO much! He is my all! To say he is my best friend, just isn't enough! He is my ALL! I love you Brad Harr!!! Thanks for a beautiful family! Someday maybe someone will find a way to read this blog, right now no one but me has access, but someday, maybe someone will look back, and I hope all that I write reflects my love admiration, gratitude and dreams for my family! All that is possible because of this good man and my Savior Jesus Christ! Without those two gentlemen taking care of me, I am nothing! I can't imagine life without either of them! I testify of the joy of family! I know that is possible because of our Savior! I love Him!
I hope my children hear me testify of Him, teach of Him, respect Him, Love HIM!

Soon this cute young man will embark into a new adventure to dedicate his entire life to testifying of HIM! Tears. My heart wishes that I could go too to dedicate all that I am to my Savior. Oh, how grateful that my children will be so brave, bold and consecrated! I hope I have taught you that His is MOST important! All things testify of HIM! The grandeur that we find on every journey we embark on is His creation! He lives! He loves us! He will come again! We need to do all we can to serve Him!
I love you with all my heart Samuel! Please be careful! Your life today is a gift! I know with all my heart that your life was spared and you could have been taken from this earth! I was given vision to know that you had a choice to choose to stay here on earth to fulfill the mission you have been called on! Thank you for choosing to stay on earth! Please use your time here to show our Heavenly Father our love so we can return together to Him!
Annie was such a good sport! She is due in 6 weeks with her "teeny tiny" little girl! We are excited to welcome her to this earth! She is a lucky little girl! Jed is so excited to be a Dad!

I will never forget the day he sold his Jeep from his teen years. The people were coming to pick it up, Jed and I found ourselves alone at the office. Jed hugged me with tears, which I thought were because he was loosing his jeep. Wrapped in his arms, he cried and whispered "Mom, I am SO blessed! I am so blessed!" I stopped him, and said, are you blessed because you are selling your jeep. He said, no Annie just told me we are going to have a baby! He was so blessed because he is going to be a Dad! I had to stop him, and say "What?" he held his finger up to tell me to be quiet about it! He said "don't tell anyone! I am so blessed!" In awe, I hugged him again, and we cried together. I am so grateful that he is grateful! That he wants to be a Dad! He was selling his jeep to go to Law school! It will be hard to have a wife pregnant, and a new baby! He will do it! He will do it with grand success!!! I know he will! I believe he will be blessed because he is willing to do the hard things! Sell his jeep! Go to school! Have a Baby! Oh dear cute little Jed. I love you beyond what those two little words can ever express!!! I love you! tears.....

What a cute team! This was really the start of our ride! At the end, it was VERY dark! 40 degrees and then add a 30 mph wind chill. Everyone was frozen at the end! It was a fun day! We missed the Chandley's! (that's what we affectionately call Chandler, Haley and Cassidy!)
