Tonight we participated in our annual Tuachan Nativity presentation. This year we reserved our own night. It was simply beautiful! We invited the Stake Presidency and their families, then we added a few families from our ward. Because it was on Saturday, we did a stew & soup dinner before hand at Tuachan. I made three big pots of beef stew and Creamy Potatoe with bacon. We had about 45 people in the cast. It was beautiful!
The miracle comes because my back has been hurting so bad for more than a week that I have been unable to move! Two days ago I got a blessing from Brad. I knew that there was work I needed to do myself to be healed, and so I finally stopped all the bustle for others, and I drove myself to Instacare this morning, while my family went to the Run Run Reindeer 5K because I just could not take another day of hurting!!! I cried when the dear lady asked my phone number because I was hurting so bad and finally admitting it! I have thought I was having kidney stones. I believe I have done those twice before although the Dr. doesn't believe I have and I never went in with them so I can't prove it. With both of those I found a cure online with something I detest - coke - lots of it on an empty stomach followed by asparagus which is supposed to work hard on deposits in the urninary tract. Anyway, I have done that fast four times - two different days in the past 10 days trying to feel better. I absolutely hate coke. Brad on the other hand, would be more than happy to drink it with me - I had to say No! After all that effort, it was still not getting better! The doc at instacare hit my back on the left where he said my kidney should be and said I don't have a kidney problem. I am not sure I believe him. Anyway, he went on to explain that he thinks I have a problem with my spinal nerve roots being pinched. He said there was really not anything he could do to help that today except perscribe some pain med and anti-inflammatory drugs. Brad came after the 5k and he went to Costco to pick up the meds and came home insisting that I take them. The miracle is that I got to be part of the nativity tonight! I was afraid I would be home crying! Oh, I am writing the miracle, even at 12:44 a.m. now because I am so grateful!
Life is full and beautiful! We leave in just hours to spend Christmas with all our kids in Boise as Jed's Annie is due with their first little "teeny tiny" on January 3 so she can't come home. So, we are doing what we always said our parents would have to do if they wanted to be a part, we are going to them! We have rented a home in Boise just minutes from their house, and are looking forward to spending the week. We have told the kids our gift to them is to go skiing on Wednesday, Wednesday night skiing, and Thursday. We will come home Friday to be here for our Elder Samuel's farewell on Sunday, December 30th. We still have some papers that we have not received back from the Apostile verification place. Praying for miracles with them so we can get them back and he can have his visa in time! :)
I am so grateful for miracles! They happen in my life!
After I went to Instacare, I got a return call from yesterday to Brad Nelson. He did some remote muscle testing, and said I had 7 inherited blocks from ancestors - mostly on Kathryn's side - some with her, some 7 generations and even back as far as 28 generations. I am glad to have them clear tonight and hope I don't have to care their burdens anylonger! I need to study more so I can clear myself without having to wait and bother him.
