This is a photo of the discussion from my Pathway class week #3. I didn't have a notepad to take notes, so I just took this photo.
We have long said that we needed to have a girls time together! The boys somehow have lots of things they like to do, and sometimes we invade them, and sometimes we don't. We decided that the girls never have time that we just do for the girls. So we planned time! Annie and Hannah came from Idaho. Liesl came from Salt Lake. Haley and Cassidy ended up getting hand foot and mouth disease and so they didn't come, we missed them!
We bought tickets to The Sound of Music at Tuachan. The show ends soon, and so tickets were tricky and I should have ordered them way earlier. In the end, we had an extra because I bought one for Haley but she didn't make it. so Brad came along. Jolene joined us for that evening. We had hamburgers for dinner here at the house, and then went to the show. I was in a panic because I wanted Brad to come and use that extra ticket (they were expensive and it I felt bad he wasn't coming anyway). I called Sam that afternoon at work and asked if he would come home and do me a favor. He reluctantly agreed to be home in time to tend Hannah for us.
The show was great! We had to sit all over the theater because I bought the tickets too late, but we were all in pairs so it was fun to visit individually during the show a bit and then we switched at intermission.
The next morning, we had a voucher for a part off a helicopter ride over Zion. Brad paid the extra and booked it for the four older ones (Annie, Liesl, Brinley and Sara) to go for the ride. (That was all that could fit in the helicopter). I heard they enjoyed it. It was only a 1/2 hour flight and I guess it went really fast, but it was rather expensive too! Oh well. I know why I haven't done that.

When they got done we went for a hike with rappels in it. I took Hannah this cute little one on the left of this column (she is 9 months old) on my back and we hiked with Stephen around the red rocks, while they did rappels and then we met at the car. It was a fun time. I am grateful for Brad who is so wise and confident with those kinds of things! We wanted to do the Subway, but we didn't get drawn for the National Park Back country Permits so go, so we didn't get to do that one. It was a great afternoon in the sunshine. After we came back to the house, and ordered pizza and made homemade apple pies. They all made one, and then Annie left to go to her parent's home in mesquite. I think it was a success for all! Liesl left early the next morning for an epic day for her! TBA

I am so grateful to be a part of the lives of these beautiful, amazing ladies! I love each one of them so much! I am grateful to get to learn and grow! I was grateful to get to do what I could to serve them, and have them all together! I will take a photo of my card, and attach it here so I can preserve my goals, and see progress over the course of the semester!
