A Journey of Gratitude

I have loved my entrepreneur class this semester! I have learned so much! The title of this post "A journey of gratitude" is the topic of our studies this week. What a great statement! I love adventures! I think life is a grand journey with lots of twists and turns! Just when we think that we can plan and navigate and be prepared for what is coming next, a change happens, and our journey is impacted in ways unexpected so that we must determine how to respond! The grand plan of our Father gave us agency! We can choose to mumble and grumble, murmur and complain, or we can find joy in the journey and see the silver lining to the dark clouds!
When one door closes, there are always other things opening up, but if we have a bad attitude. If we throw in the towel, if we get slack in our energy or don't care for our health the way we should (haha I better quit eating the peanut M&M's sitting nearby) then we will regret it soon enough!

When we see the catastrophe or disaster or even just change of plans and see the silver lining, then our world can be a beautiful place filled with loving tender mercies from our loving Heavenly Father placed specifically for us!

I appreciate the honest video we watched this week for this class where a successful businessman says that we should count on customers being nasty, partners embezzling money, the economy tanking.... I am not really looking at the list he made, but it was along those lines. He said something like: If you think you can avoid all those by being lucky, you are wrong! They will all happen! Count on it! Plan for it. Prepare for alternate plans when the first try or the second or the third don't work!

That has been the story of this weekend! I will write more details later. Right now I have tons of assignments due in a matter of minutes, but I am grateful for the abundance of life that I enjoy! I am grateful for a business that is flourishing. I am grateful for a fabulous husband! I am grateful for a beautiful family! I am grateful for great employees! I am grateful for money to pay our bills and support the families of our employees! I am grateful for new opportunities! I am grateful to see possibilities for growth and change! I am grateful my Heavenly Father has not given up on me! I am grateful for His tender mercies in my behalf every day - including today! Life is a journey! I am grateful to live today! I am grateful to live it so abundately!
